Bio:
Mrs. Baker teaches undergraduate courses and has held this position since January 2001. Undergraduate courses taught include small group, interpersonal, communication contexts and public speaking, including Freshman Learning Community sections. Baker managed corporate sales accounts and served as a junior faculty member at UNC-Greensboro prior to her current position. As an educator and speaker, she has developed workshops and lectured on strategies in public speaking and teaching effectiveness. Most recently, she has concentrated on facilitating presentation strategies for professional organizations. Baker has earned certification in corporate training by the American Society of Training and Development. A graduate of UNC Charlotte, Baker has served as a member of the UNC Charlotte Alumni Association Board of Directors.
