Hello, Citizens of Baoding!
On behalf of the citizens of Charlotte, North Carolina, we are honored to present you with this small window into our part of the world.
This website was created in recognition of 20 years of partnership between Baoding and Charlotte as Sister Cities. The site was commissioned by Charlotte Sister Cities and created by students at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. This project combined UNC Charlotte Communication Studies majors and Software and Information Systems majors. Students from both fields worked together, sharing their individual strengths from diverse areas of study.
The mission of this website is to enhance the relationship between citizens in Charlotte and Baoding, through cultural exchange. Rather than learning about Charlotte only through books and other sources, one can explore the dynamics of Charlotte life first hand.
We hope you enjoy this gift. We look forward to learning more about Baoding through future projects between our cities.
